A holiday in Warstein is recreation, peace and relaxation, all in one! The Sauerland, and especially the area around Warstein, is known for exciting hiking trails and varied landscapes. The Bilsteinhöhle (cave), the Warsteiner Wildpark (wildlife-park) or Möhnesee (lake) are just a few of the natural attractions around our guest house. Right next to the guest house, there is so much to discover at the Warsteiner Brewery – children, too, will have a great time in Fort Fun adventure land!

Hiking Paradise
If you feel like going for a walk, or even for a longer hike, then you have a hiking paradise right on your doorstep! The Arnsberger Wald (Arnsberg Forest) attracts nature-lovers and fresh air fans with its extensive caves, clear lakes and almost untouched nature.
Bicycle Tours
The guest house is the ideal starting point for ambitious mountain bike rides/tours, or relaxed bicycle tours in the Sauerland. You can start your cycling adventure from here! Bicycle routes, such as the Römer-Lippe-Route, Ruhrtal-Radweg (Ruhr valley bicycle route) or the Möhnetalradweg, run close to our guest house. Cycling sport enthusiasts will find ideal training opportunities on the routes towards the Ruhr region, or the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region (East Westphalia-Lippe).
Skiing & Snowboarding
We are very close to the most beautiful slopes of the Wintersport-Arena Sauerland which stretches from the Sauerland region into the Siegerland-Wittgenstein region, which actually offers the greatest snow-fun north of the Alps! World-famous sports venues, such as the Winterberg bobsleigh-run, or the Willinger Mühlenkopfschanze (ski-jump), can be found right on our doorstep.
Wild Animals & Caves
You will find pure nature in the Bilstein Valley. You can visit the Wildpark (wildlife-park) free-of-charge all year round, and at any time. Here, you can literally be up-close and on-the-spot when the fox says good-night to the hare.
Hot-Air Balloon Festival
The Warsteiner International Montgolfiade is Europe’s biggest annual hot-air balloon event. On nine days of the year, depending on the weather conditions, more than 200 balloons take-off from the Warsteiner event area – a real spectacle for young and the young-at-heart! Entry is free-of-charge.
